Founder, President, Dan Neumeyer
Building is in Dan’s blood. Before moving to Whidbey Island and starting JADE in 1999, Dan had over two decades of building experience under his belt.
Dan developed a practical and functional understanding of core building principles and design—and a knack for problem solving—early on. He first stepped into construction as a teenager and was mentored by a master craftsman building simple homes. Dan went on to study architecture at U.C. Berkeley, and was often called upon by his professor to help peers complete impossible builds. During that time he also started his first business and designed and built extraordinary decks, trellises and fences.
As a project manager for a Bay Area commercial contractor for ten years, Dan acquired extensive experience in all aspects of construction management from team building, estimating and cost control, scheduling, and managing labor and subcontractors, to communication and documentation.
Today, Dan continues to pursue his passion for building and helping people realize their vision on South Whidbey.

JADE has a full-time project manager who manages each project from start to finish. This attention to detail makes everything from ordering materials to managing crew schedules to communicating with subcontractors more efficient.
Office Manager
Materials expenses and time are tracked carefully for each job making sure that our clients are billed correctly and fairly for work we perform.

Our team of skilled craftsman have years of experience. They work efficiently and carefully to make each project a success.
